The Palm Pixi represents the second webOS device from Palm and what many proclaim as the successor to the companies Centro line of smartphones. It’s geared for young professionals who are shopping for their first smartphone or perhaps looking for a phone that won’t break the bank. Given it’s aging OS, the Centro was surprisingly popular. To Palm’s credit, the Centro was more capable th... more. -

he T-Mobile myTouch 3G is based on HTC's Magic, which is sold by a number of carriers around the world. It is the second Android based phone to be sold in the USA, and builds upon the success of the original T-Mobile G1 by offering more design polish in a smaller, and sleeker package. While the vast majority of our original HTC Magic review we published in May applies to the T-Mobile myTouch 3G, t... more. -

The company behind the BlackBerry is Research in Motion (RIM). The first BlackBerry phone was launched in 1999 and since then, several nice models have appeared on the market. Research in Motion used to aim mainly at the corporate user with the BlackBerry mobile phone, however, private use of Internet and email on a mobile phone is becoming quite common, and the current BlackBerry product portfoli... more. -

One of the most common apprehensions about business phones is the fact that they are just too monotonous. Most business phones are purely meant for work, minus the pleasure and this is something that really sucks the fun out of the whole process of owning a high end phone. The new Blackberry Tour, however, endeavors to change all of it- with solid business phone basics and a whole lot of full fill... more. -
Palm Pre Phone (Sprint)

For me, Palm was the one that got away. I don’t exactly remember what made me buy my Palm V but for the life of pocket organizers, nothing ever supplanted it. After a year and a half long stint with the Palm V I tried moving to a bunch of Pocket PC based organizers. The iPaq was the most recognizable of them all, and it seemed like as functionality went up, usability decreased. I went through... more. -

Not all phones are created equal, which is why after months of being on the market and after the recent hoopla about the new Apple iPhone 3G S and the Palm Pre it’s still worthwhile to take a look at the Samsung Memoir T929. As a camera phone, the Memoir is worth its weight as it clocks in with 8.0 megapixels, which means that if you’re a casual snapshot shooter, you have all you need here (es... more. -

The LG Xenon manages to fit a touch screen and large, side-sliding QWERTY keyboard into a small and fairly slim package. It's budget-priced yet well made and rich with features like HSDPA, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, music and video playback. However, the touch screen response and inconsistent user interface knock this phone down a few notches: the screen requires very hard taps compared to other resis... more. -

Almost one full year later, RIM and Verizon Wireless are at it again with the BlackBerry Storm2, their second attempt at a full touchscreen BlackBerry device. Despite the relatively strong sales numbers, reports of build quality problems, typing issues, and the like surfaced on the internet within moments of the device launching. Months and numerous software revisions later, the world (and more sp... more. -
